Match Profiler is an Information Systems consultant who has been working in the national and international market since 1999. We have multidisciplinary skills and IT know-how that allow us to contribute, optimize and progress with our clients.

We are currently recruiting, for integration in our internal team/client, professionals with the following profile:

Senior Data Scientist (m/f) – Hybrid (Lisbon)

Responsibilities

• Experience in project and team management
• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (MSc/PhD in Data Science is a plus)
• +4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or a similar role
• Proven knowledge and experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and text dataset curation
• Hands-on experience in coding for real-world data analytics applications
• Experience in NLP tasks, such as Text Classification, NER, and Information Retrieval
• Experience working with LLMs, OpenAI API (or equivalent), and RAG
• Proficiency in Python and ML/DL packages (PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas)
• Solid mathematical foundations and experience in statistical consultancy
• Strong business sense with the ability to quickly understand use cases
• Familiarity with data engineering, modeling, and business analysis
• Fluency in English and Portuguese
