Responsibilities

• Designing and developing data models, ETL pipelines, and data integration processes in Databricks by integrating data from various sources (databases, APIs, streaming platforms, etc.)
• Ensuring every DWH process precision, efficiency, and scalability through monitoring, tuning, and optimizing the platform.
• Help expanding data models of our Data Warehouse.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance standards.
• Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational, Strategic & Analytical).
• Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality.
• Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed, data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience with Databricks for designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes with big amounts of data.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and Modern DWH architecture (including Medallion Architecture).
• Public Cloud experience (great understanding of Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, etc).
• Experience in building, using, and optimizing agents/skills for modern LLMs (Claude/Copilot are preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Strong expertise with SQL Server and performance optimization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL is a strong differentiation point.
• Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards and in writing complex DAX statements.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment OR 7 years in any industry sector.
• At least a secondary school qualification (A-Levels or equivalent).
• Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish language knowledge is a big plus.
