About the Position

Senior Depositary Services Compliance Analyst

Are you passionate about the fund industry and custody? We are looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst at Depositary services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform depositary oversight activities for various types of funds (pension funds and investment funds);
  • Perform control activities ensuring funds comply with applicable regulations (fund documents, laws, UCITS and AIFMD directives, etc.);
  • Deep-dive into the fund industry, exploring the way funds work and what types of investments they do;
  • Create, enhance, and implement control procedures for different types of funds and ensure they comply with local laws and regulations;
  • Develop oversight skills in all aspects of fund portfolio management, e.g., asset valuation, NAV calculation, investment limits, cash and securities settlement related flows;
  • Understand the world of custody, securities operations, and corporate actions;
  • Work alongside other teams in the Financial Institutions and Capital Markets department.

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, legal, or finance;
  • Keen interest in financial markets and investment funds industry;
  • Experience within the Depositary services or within Custody, or Funds management industry;
  • An understanding of the EU regulations and Lithuanian laws regarding the fund industry (UCITS, AIFMD);
  • Good analytical and calculation skills, attentiveness, and accuracy;
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel;
  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English and Lithuanian (written and spoken);
  • Strong result orientation, exceptional self-drive, and strive for excellence.
