About the Position
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and help build, maintain, and secure the cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that support engineering teams. In this role, you will work with AWS, Terraform, GitHub Enterprise, SonarQube, and observability tooling, ensuring reliable access management, CI/CD processes, security compliance, and platform scalability through automation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain GitHub Enterprise, including user lifecycle management, team administration, permissions, and audit log monitoring.
- Manage SonarQube Enterprise environments, including project setup, access control, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and integration maintenance.
- Administer AWS Identity Center (SSO), permission sets, IAM policies, users, groups, and access governance through Terraform, AWS CLI, and AWS management tools.
- Create, manage, and decommission AWS accounts while supporting AWS Organizations, billing configuration, cost reporting, and support case management.
- Maintain and improve integrations between Datadog, AWS services, developer platforms, and containerized workloads running on AWS ECS.
- Conduct regular user access reviews and ensure appropriate access controls across cloud and developer platforms.
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for internal applications and platform services, ensuring reliability and security.
- Review and approve Infrastructure as Code changes, promoting best practices, consistency, and security standards.
- Contribute to PCI DSS and SOX compliance initiatives through audit preparation, remediation activities, and effective access management processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Systems Administration.
- Hands-on experience administering AWS, including AWS Organizations, Identity Center (SSO), IAM, and AWS Account Factory.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, including code review and governance standards.
- Experience administering GitHub Enterprise, including repository permissions, team management, security settings, and audit logging.
- Experience administering SonarQube Enterprise, including upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and CI/CD integrations.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and platform operations.
- Experience with AWS ECS, containerized applications, and observability platforms such as Datadog.
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including SSO, IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege access principles.
- Experience supporting security and compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and SOX, including access reviews, audit activities, and remediation processes.
- Proficiency with AWS CLI, Git, Linux command-line environments, and strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
