About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining large-scale, highly available CI/CD platforms. The primary mission will be to architect the next generation of our Jenkins service, with a specific focus on scaling the Jenkins controller to support our growing organization. This role is critical to ensuring that CI/CD pipelines are resilient and able to support our growing development needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of a highly available and scalable Jenkins controller infrastructure
- Audit the customer's current Jenkins environment to identify areas for improvement
- Evaluate commercial solutions such as CloudBees CI versus custom-built architectures to determine the optimal path forward
- Design and implement a solution to make the Jenkins environment exceptionally robust, scalable, and efficient
- Drive the implementation, configuration, and migration to the new Jenkins architecture with minimal disruption
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines are resilient and able to support growing development needs
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with a strong focus on Jenkins architecture and administration in large-scale environments
- Expertise in designing and scaling Jenkins controllers for high availability and performance
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining large-scale, highly available CI/CD platforms
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2+)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services such as GKE, GCE, and Cloud Storage
- Knowledge of enterprise Jenkins solutions like CloudBees CI
- Background in other CI/CD tools and ecosystems
