Ми плануємо зростити трафік ще в 2–3 рази в найближчій перспективі, саме тому шукаємо Senior DevOps Engineer, який візьме на себе повну відповідальність за надійність, масштабованість та ефективність нашої інфраструктури.

What You Will Get

🚀 Opportunity to build processes – this is the first DevOps role in the in-house team, so approaches and standards are being formed here. In the future – the opportunity to own the direction and develop your own DevOps team.
🛠 Self-service approach instead of routine – the role's goal: to enable developers to independently perform typical infrastructure tasks through secure, documented processes, rather than focusing on a stream of small requests.
📈 Real scale and dynamics – the business is growing actively, we plan to increase the load by 2–3 times, so there will be no stagnation in tasks.
🧠 Technical depth – besides the classic Kubernetes/AWS stack, the work includes production databases, Redis, Kafka – full data-layer observability.

Responsibilities

Own the infrastructure roadmap of Honeytech - AWS/EKS/Kubernetes, monitoring, alerting, access, costs, and operational reliability.
Build observability that answers business-critical questions, not just technical metrics.
Improve Kubernetes efficiency: autoscaling (HPA/custom metrics), pod startup speed, node pool strategy, resource requests/limits.
Be responsible for the entire incident management process: detection, response, communication, postmortem, preventive tasks.
Maintain order in infrastructure code and deployment processes: Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD/GitOps, environment separation, quick rollback paths.
Optimize costs without losing reliability – find inefficient expenses, improve resource utilization, use spot instances only where safe.
Implement a self-service DevOps approach for the development team.

Requirements

Senior level with real production experience.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (mandatory).
Confident experience with Terraform (mandatory).
Production experience with AWS: EKS, IAM, VPC.
Practical experience in building CI/CD and GitOps.
Proficiency in observability stack: Grafana, Prometheus, logs, traces, alerting.
Incident management experience (root cause analysis, postmortems, runbooks).
Understanding of performance & reliability engineering: load testing, capacity planning, bottleneck search, SLO/SLI.
Knowledge of security and access control principles.
Experience in cost engineering.
Practical experience with stateful systems in production: PostgreSQL/MySQL-compatible DBs, Redis, message queues/streams.
Experience with Kafka.
Ability to build data-level observability (DB/Kafka/Redis), not just pods and nodes.

Nice to Have

Experience with high-traffic consumer products, payment/content systems, media/CDN, Cloudflare.
Experience in coordinating external contractors/DevOps contractors while maintaining technical responsibility within the team.
Experience with PHP applications.
