About the Position

Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join our team in Vöhl, Germany. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Administration, Wartung und Aktualisierung von Kubernetes-Clustern auf AWS (EKS)
• Deployment, Konfiguration und Betrieb von Applikationen mittels Helm und Kubernetes Operators
• Incident-Management: eigenständige Analyse und Behebung kritischer Störungen sowie Wiederherstellung ausgefallener Systeme
• Evaluation und Integration von Sonatype IQ Server (Repository Firewall, Lifecycle) für mehr Software Supply Chain Security
• Entwicklung einer Node.js-Integration von AWS Inspector und Dependency-Track inkl. accountübergreifendem Export, Transformation, Import und Bereinigung von Schwachstellendaten
• Automatisierung manueller Betriebsabläufe, Optimierung von Workflows und Dokumentation direkt im Code
• Hardening von Docker-Images: Patching von Base-Images, Optimierung von Dockerfiles, Behebung von CVEs
• Anpassung von CI/CD-Pipelines und Jenkins zur Integration von Security-Maßnahmen in den Build-Prozess
• Beratung der Entwicklungsteams bei Plattform-, Deployment- und Betriebsfragen sowie Wissenstransfer an Dev- und Ops-Teams
• Stellvertretende Projektteamleitung im Ticketmanagement und in der technischen Abstimmung mit dem Mutterkonzern
