Senior DevOps Engineer with AW and GCP

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our newly-formed team supporting the maintenance and development of custom web-based applications. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders globally, primarily in Canada and Poland, with occasional interactions on the US West Coast. If you are passionate about cloud technologies and automation, this opportunity may be the right fit for you.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the maintenance and development of web-based applications in a cloud environment
• Designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Automating infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code principles with tools like Terraform
• Collaborating with global team members to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes
• Monitoring application performance and implementing logging and alerting solutions
• Troubleshooting issues across the cloud infrastructure and providing solutions
• Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance automation and efficiency in processes

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or related fields
• Proficiency in AWS and GCP cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with building CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control
• Solid understanding of infrastructure automation and configuration management
• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Terraform and container concepts
• Knowledge of ArgoCD and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with Python programming and High Performance Computing
