Senior DLP Analyst

for The Airline Company

Location: Bucharest, Romania


About the Client

Our client is a global trade association representing approximately 350 airlines, accounting for over 80% of worldwide air traffic. The organization is committed to representing, leading, and serving the aviation industry by developing commercial and safety standards, advocating for industry policy, and offering services such as financial solutions and operational safety audits.


Project Details

You will play a key role in building the foundations of the client's Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capability through a dedicated implementation project. You will contribute across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution evaluation to selection, implementation, testing, and operational readiness.


Your Team

You will join the Information Security team within the Information & Data (I&D) division. The team is responsible for protecting information assets and enabling the secure and responsible use of data across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Data Security Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across Information Security, including Cyber Resilience and Operations, and Governance, Risk and Compliance, as well as with Data Engineering and other I&D teams. You will also collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and execution of the DLP request-for-proposal process.
  • Participating in solution assessments, vendor evaluations, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Identifying, documenting, and prioritizing business and technical DLP use cases.
  • Translating business requirements, data risks, and regulatory obligations into practical DLP policies, controls, and detection scenarios.
  • Supporting the design of an integrated DLP technology and control architecture aligned with the organizational needs and risk profile.
  • Working with technical and business stakeholders to assess the potential operational impact of DLP controls.
  • Supporting policy testing, tuning, false-positive reduction, and control validation.
  • Contributing to implementation planning, documentation, governance, and the transition of the DLP capability into ongoing operations.
  • Supporting stakeholder communications, awareness activities, and the adoption of new DLP controls.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in the DLP domain, including hands-on work with DLP technologies, implementation projects, and the current vendor landscape.
  • Practical experience integrating DLP capabilities across endpoints, cloud services, email, web traffic, and collaboration platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Netskope (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview would be an advantage.
  • Adaptability to new technologies.
  • Ability to understand business context and translate risks into effective DLP policies and detection scenarios.
  • Comfort working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to explain complex data security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Solid understanding of relevant data protection, privacy, records management, and information security requirements.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
