Senior DWH Consultant für Banken & Versicherungen | Datenmigration, ETL & Data Quality

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Consultant with around 14 years of experience. You will support banks and insurance companies with data migration, DWH modernization, and data quality – from architecture and data modeling to ETL, validation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Data Warehouse and Data Migration:
- Analysis of source and target systems
- Development of complex ETL/ELT routes
- Migration of core banking, insurance, and corporate data
- Mapping, transformation, and technical implementation of business requirements
- Data validation, testing, and quality assurance
- Support for consolidation and production deployment
DWH Modernization and Architecture:
- Analysis and review of existing enterprise data warehouse architectures
- Design of target architectures
- Modernization of historically grown data platforms
- Integration of existing data lakes and source systems
- Building of cloud data warehouses and data hubs
- Definition of architecture, development, and governance standards
Data Vault 2.0 and Data Modeling:
- Modeling of Raw Vault and Business Vault
- Development of information marts
- Review and optimization of existing data vault solutions
- Automation of data vault processes
- Modeling according to Data Vault 2.0, 3NF, star, and snowflake schema
- Technical workshops and coaching for internal teams
Data Quality and Operational Stabilization:
- Development of technical data quality rules
- Analysis of data patterns and error causes
- Building of data quality dashboards
- Monitoring of business-critical ETL processes
- Error analysis and performance optimization
- Stabilization and automation of existing data processing
Reporting and Analytics:
- Migration of existing Cognos and SAP-BO reports to Power BI
- Building of standardized reporting platforms
- Development of data models, dashboards, and reports
- Integration of different data sources
- Introduction and administration of Power BI and Tableau
- Automation with Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint
