About the Position

The Senior Dynamics 365 F&O Engineer – DSE is a strategic technical role responsible for the design, implementation, and lifecycle support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. Acting as a Designated Support Engineer, this individual serves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring the platform delivers operational excellence, scalability, and alignment with enterprise objectives across finance, supply chain, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of D365 F&O solutions across financial and operational domains
• Customize and extend the platform using X++, LCS, and Power Platform components
• Drive integration initiatives using Azure services, APIs, and middleware to connect D365 F&O with enterprise systems
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Oversee code quality, deployment planning, and release management in collaboration with DevOps teams
• Ensure system performance, data integrity, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
• Provide proactive support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations as a DSE
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including core financials, supply chain, and manufacturing modules
• Proficiency in X++, LCS, and D365 development frameworks
• Strong understanding of data entities, workflows, and security models within F&O
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control
• Familiarity with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn fast

Nice to Have

• Microsoft certifications such as MB-300, MB-500, or MB-700
• Experience with dual-write, Dataverse, and hybrid integration scenarios
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, data migration, and performance tuning
• Background in ERP transformation or multi-entity financial consolidation projects
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit requirements in finance systems
