Senior Engineer - Fire Safety Officer

Location: Nashiko, India

Responsibilities

• Fire Safety Management System

  • Provide a fire safety management plan, design the framework for emergency situations, issue guidelines, design the procedures, and review the procedures periodically.

• Fire Safety Inspection & Assessment

  • Supervise regular fire safety inspections at facilities of site locations and ensure that all fire and life safety systems installed in the work premises are effective, efficient, and ready to use.

• Training & Awareness

  • Provide training to employees, facility staff including contractor employees on fire safety and preventive measures, basic firefighting techniques, organizing fire drills, and emergency evacuation drills.

• Communication & Participation

  • Liaison with internal & external stakeholders related to fire safety systems compliance, supporting during any external emergencies.

• Compliance Management

  • Supervise plant processes/activities are legally complied in line with statutory requirements and Bosch guidelines applicable for fire emergency systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Diploma in industrial safety or fire fighting course or any other related course (desired)
• Authorized license from RTO for driving ambulance & fire vehicle

Experience

• 5/6 years of experience of working in manufacturing industry including 3 years in HSE function
• Experience of driving emergency vehicle
