About the Position
Senior Engineer - Simulation (Splitter Gearbox)
Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India, is seeking a Senior Engineer - Simulation (Splitter Gearbox) to join our team. If you have a passion for engineering and a knack for simulation, we want you!
Responsibilities
- Technical Calculation: Perform technical calculations of components and assemblies of splitter gearboxes.
- FEM Calculations: Conduct thermal, static, dynamic, linear, and nonlinear FEM calculations.
- Component Optimization: Optimize components in terms of weight, stiffness, resistance, and fatigue life.
- FE Calculation Models: Generate FE calculation models using commercial FEM software (ANSYS).
- Fatigue Life Assessment: Assess the fatigue life of components using commercial software (FEMFAT).
- External Calculations: Organize and monitor externally performed calculations.
- Experimental Validation: Determine experimental validation procedures, assess results, and correlate simulation models.
- Report Preparation: Evaluate results and prepare calculation reports.
- 1D Torsional Vibration Analyses: Perform 1D torsional vibration analyses.
- Bearing and Gear Calculations: Conduct bearing calculations and gear calculations (KissSOFT/KissSYS).
- Lubrication Analysis: Perform gearbox lubrication analysis (ENGINESOFT).
Requirements
- Education: Successfully completed studies (university / technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive manufacturing.
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in a similar field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in ANSYS
- Proficiency in FEMFAT
- Proficiency in EngineSOFT
- Proficiency in KissSOFT/KissSYS
