Senior Engineering Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Specialist for manual testing in a remote role in Poland, focusing on software system level testing.

Responsibilities

• Software baseline validation

  • Execute the basic regression test on the software baseline
  • Quality check of the project deliverables
  • Contribute to requirement reviews with respect to testability
  • Review project input documents (project test report, process conformance)
  • Provide a quality verdict of the delivered software; accept/reject deliverables

• Execute the alpha test of new software packages

  • Execute alpha tests
  • Report issues
  • Write test reports, submit issue tickets

• Process improvement

  • Suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary
  • Test automation
  • Test system maintenance
  • Make sure the test systems are in a good state and solve issues where needed

Requirements

• Must have

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • More than 5 years of experience as a Software Tester in a complex software development organization.
  • ISTQB certified (advanced level).
  • Proficiency in Python, Selenium, and Linux.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, integration of test processes across products, test automation, and security testing.
  • Experience working with Jira, BitBucket, Git, and Polarion.
  • Strong debugging and analytic skills; experienced in defect analysis and bug fixing.
