Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Executive, License Management(ライセンスマネジャー) to develop and sell products using external IP and create PR strategies. This role involves a wide range of tasks from product planning to marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Product Development: Develop and sell products using external IP (intellectual property) for online sales.
  • Marketing: Create PR strategies for products using various IPs such as anime, manga, characters, celebrities, and sports.
  • Communication: Communicate with rights holders, procurement, and manufacturing companies.
  • Sales Forecasting: Predict sales quantities and determine manufacturing quantities based on forecasts.
  • Cost Management: Manage manufacturing costs, sales, and various schedules.
  • Design Direction: Direct the design of products and promotional materials (LPs, banners).
  • Product Registration: Register products and update the site.
  • Promotion and Marketing: Handle all aspects of promotion and marketing.
  • Additional Tasks: Manage some e-commerce related tasks such as order management and customer support.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in product/campaign planning using IP or in product marketing (ad operations, e-commerce operations, SNS operations).
  • Communication Skills: High-level communication skills to drive projects with stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge: Broad knowledge of IP and the ability to catch up on new information and apply it to work.
  • Design Skills: Basic design production skills (e.g., creating promotional materials using Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Proactiveness: Ability to think and act independently.
