About the Position
Senior Experience Designer

Responsibilities
As a Senior Experience Designer, you will:
- Take full ownership of your workstream or lead a small team to deliver across digital products and experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define and create experiences that meet functional and emotional needs.
- Contribute to business development, including proposal writing and pitching.
- Foster a positive design team culture through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring junior practitioners.
In a project, you will:
- Demonstrate strong project workstream leadership and client management capability.
- Consolidate client objectives, user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints to shape experience strategies and design solutions.
- Plan, conduct, or contribute to research, usability testing, and synthesis activities.
- Lead benchmarking and analysis of existing product solutions and identify gaps or opportunity spaces.
- Develop and articulate use cases, concepts, and features across journeys, service blueprints, and interface behavior.
- Drive interaction logic and argumentation for the product or experience and create interaction models, information architecture, and user flows.
- Work confidently in Figma and other design tools to create high-fidelity screens, interactive prototypes, and digital design artefacts.
- Create, apply, and scale Design Systems, including consulting on the strategic structure of the design system, creating and managing a Figma component library, style guide, and other documentation, and driving governance, workflow, and toolchain.
- Leverage your strong visual design craft, including typography, layout, color theory, and responsive design.
- Lead presentations internally and externally with clarity, persuasion, and storytelling finesse.
Requirements
- Business-level fluency in both German and English
- 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, or visual design from agency, consultancy, startup, or in-house with strong ownership of end-to-end design workstreams.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, visual craft, and strategic thinking in digital design.
- High proficiency in Figma, especially in interaction logic, component design, theme, and token service, with attention to details.
- A clear, structured approach to interaction patterns across mobile/desktop platforms and experience defining product logic through site maps, user flows, wireframes, etc.
- Strong experience creating and scaling Design Systems.
- Ability to rationalize your decisions effectively and present your work clearly, through strong presentation design and storytelling techniques.
- A strong product development mindset, able to work autonomously, make informed trade-offs, and collaborate iteratively with business and tech teams.
- Affinity with frog’s values, and a passion for creating products that meet peoples’ functional and emotional needs.
Nice to Have
- A degree in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer-Interaction, or a related design discipline.
- Experience designing and/or prototyping for GenAI based products (e.g., LLM-based product, agentic system, multi-modal AI interaction, GenAI content generation, etc.).
- Explore and integrate GenAI tools into design workflows for research, ideation, concepting, rapid prototyping, and iteration.
- Knowledge and experience of accessibility principles.
