About the Position
Senior Expert Embedded Linux Developer
LOCATION: Gothenburg, Sweden
COMPANY: A Swedish multinational manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Gothenburg
CONTRACT: B2B for 1 year, could be extended
We are seeking a Senior Expert Embedded Linux Developer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will work with the development and evaluation of concepts and technologies for our embedded software platform, which includes Autosar Platform (VAP), Linux, and Dynamic Software Platform (VDSP) based on Adaptive Autosar and Hypervisor technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate concepts and technologies for our embedded software platform.
- Work closely with different suppliers and development/architecture teams.
- Integrate platforms in different ECUs and develop platform features.
- Analyze and apply knowledge on complex embedded software solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in embedded software.
- Proficiency in Linux and preferably knowledge of Yocto for Embedded Linux.
- Very good programming skills in C and/or C++ in an embedded environment.
- Experience with complex embedded software solution/design.
- Interest in automation, CI, and CD.
- Experience working in close collaboration with suppliers.
- Service mindset to provide a good software platform to users.
- Capable of analyzing and applying knowledge on not fully given frames.
Nice to Have
- Good education in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience with real-time embedded systems.
- Good experience with CI environment, GIT, Artifactory, Jenkins.
- Experience in agile development.
- Experience with Classic AUTOSAR and related tools is a big advantage.
