Responsibilities
As a Senior Failure Analysis Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and optimizing power electronics performance. You’ll collaborate with global teams, engage directly with customers, and ensure industry-leading reliability and product excellence.
- Analyze and troubleshoot AC/DC switching power supply modules using advanced technology
- Perform in-depth fault isolation and defect analysis to pinpoint root causes in power ICs
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports tailored for global customers
- Engage directly with customers, including on-site visits, to resolve quality concerns
- Support teams across China and Taiwan, ensuring global customer satisfaction
- Communicate findings effectively, both verbally and in writing, with precision and clarity
Requirements
- Proven expertise in failure analysis for power semiconductors, analog/mixed-signal ICs
- Hands-on knowledge of switch-mode power supply applications
- Fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin-both spoken and written
- Experience working directly with customers to resolve product quality issues
- Ability to interpret complex schematics and layouts at the system and chip levels
- Bonus: Experience in automotive failure analysis or customer-facing quality assurance
Your Background
- ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience
- ✅ Master’s degree preferred (MSEE) with 3+ years’ hands-on experience
