About the Position
(Senior) Finance Associate - 6 Month Maternity Cover
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Contract
Work Location: On-site
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive (Senior) Finance Associate to join our Finance team on a 6-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the company's day-to-day finance operations, month-end closing activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to other departments which involves internal system adjustments, reviews, and executions
- Manage weekly payment processing, petty cash transactions, and finance records
- Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial analysis
- Prepare management reports and assist with financial reporting requirements
- Monitor postpaid client collections and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Track spending against budgets and support budget variance analysis
- Assist with statutory compliance activities, including audits and tax filings
- Review, update, and maintain finance SOPs and process documentation
- Support ad hoc finance projects and operational initiatives as assigned
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- High integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Oracle or other accounting systems is an advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit-related roles
- Experience in month-end closing, reporting, budgeting, or financial operations is preferred
