Senior Finance Expert / Lead

About the Position

BrightPoint, a talent acquisition agency with over 15 years of experience in investment advisory and management consulting, is seeking an ambitious finance professional to join an international company in the energy sector. This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant or Financial Analyst ready to advance their career, focusing on controlling and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Group Reporting & Controlling: Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasts for the Group management.
• Coordination of External Partners: Manage the relationship with the external accounting provider (who handles the bookkeeping) and external auditors.
• Financial Monitoring: Oversee the monthly closing process and ensure data accuracy and IFRS compliance.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily liquidity, prepare payment schedules, and manage cash flow forecasts.
• Process Optimization: Participate in ad-hoc strategic projects, such as financial due diligence for new acquisitions, mergers, and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, or Finance.
• Mindset: Eager to learn and develop in a dynamic investment environment.
• Skills:
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Self-organized and able to work independently.
