Help build a scalable, future-ready finance function that powers safe and fair live event experiences for millions of fans worldwide.

Responsibilities

As Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of TicketSwap’s financial information. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of assigned accounting areas, entities, or processes, applying sound judgment to both recurring and non-recurring transactions
  • Supporting operational finance processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, payments, and partner-related flows
  • Identifying risks, gaps, or inefficiencies in finance processes and working with the team to resolve them
  • Helping strengthen financial controls, improve process documentation, and build more scalable ways of working

  • Supporting colleagues within the Finance team by sharing knowledge, reviewing work where relevant, and contributing to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement

Requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with curiosity, ownership, and a desire to improve how finance works. You may be a great fit if you have:

  • Strong experience in financial accounting, ideally gained across audit, industry, or a combination of both
  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journals, and financial reporting
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply judgment in practical situations
  • Experience working with auditors or preparing audit support
  • A process improvement mindset, with examples of improving ways of working rather than simply maintaining them
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, international, or scaling environment
  • Strong attention to detail, combined with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with both finance and non-finance colleagues
  • A proactive, structured, and solutions-oriented way of working
  • Interest in automation, systems, AI, and the future of finance

Experience in a marketplace, platform, payments, SaaS, e-commerce, or high-volume transaction environment would be a plus, but isn’t required.

This role could be a strong fit if you’re currently working in audit and looking to move closer to the business, or if you already have industry experience and are looking for a role with more ownership, complexity, and impact.

We Offer

  • Be part of an international platform with a clear mission and strong brand
  • Join a Finance team with real opportunity to shape processes, controls, and systems
  • Work in a business with high transaction volumes, multiple markets, and interesting accounting challenges
  • Help build a modern finance function that uses automation, AI, and better tooling to scale
  • Work closely with experienced finance leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Take on meaningful ownership in a growing company

At TicketSwap, Finance is not just about closing the books. It’s about building the foundation that helps the business grow safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Practical Details

  • Full-time role based in Amsterdam (hybrid setup)
  • You need to be based in the Netherlands or have a valid work permit (no relocation support provided)
