Mozilla Finance is responsible for strategic resource allocation, overseeing day-to-day financial operations as we scale our mission impact with new and existing products, technology, and business models. We are seeking a detail-driven Senior Financial Analyst, Core Services to execute the recurring planning, reporting, and analysis that supports this portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Core Services forecast each cycle.
• Assemble the monthly budget update.
• Partner with Accounting through monthly close.
• Maintain headcount tracking.
• Track vendor and cloud spend.
• Apply AI and automation to recurring work.
• Support Core Services teams day to day.

Requirements

Core Experience

• 5+ years of work experience in business unit FP&A, corporate FP&A, strategic finance, or a comparable analytical finance role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitative field.

Technical Skills

• Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with enterprise planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, Workday, etc.) and accounting systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Grounding in accounting fundamentals, including accruals and the monthly close cycle.
• Familiarity with cloud cost or FinOps concepts.
• Interest in applying AI, automation, and systems thinking to reduce manual effort in recurring finance work.
• Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and cycle deadlines without loss of accuracy.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions, distilling detail into structured summaries that leaders can act on.
• Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting technical or G&A functions in a shared-services finance environment.
• Experience building automations or AI-assisted workflows within a Finance context.
• Experience with BI tools, SQL, Python, Power Query, or other data querying and programming languages.

Salary

• US Tier 1 Locations: $102,000 - $136,000 USD
• US Tier 2 Locations: $94,000 - $125,000 USD
• US Tier 3 Locations: $87,000 - $116,000 USD
