About the Position
We’re looking for a Senior FP&A Expert/Business Controller – Wholesale Banking Technology to join our team in Makati City, Philippines. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong learning agility, technical expertise, and a drive to challenge the status quo. You’ll lead financial data management, support cost center oversight, and drive reporting automation across the Wholesale Banking Tech domain.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial data consolidation and reporting across Wholesale Banking Tech.
- Support cost center management for smaller units, ensuring accurate tracking and forecasting.
- Design and automate dashboards and reports using Power BI, DAX, SQL, Power Query, and Advanced Excel.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Coordinate Flash and Actuals reporting, Dynamic Planning, and Rolling Forecasts.
- Improve data quality and reduce manual processes through automation and standardization.
- Collaborate globally with finance teams to challenge assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively implement solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Experience in banking, particularly Wholesale Banking, is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial advisory, or reporting roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL, Power Query, and Advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with SmartView, Hyperion, Essbase, or TM1 is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills - Proven ability to build reports from scratch and communicate insights effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to create clear and compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial insights.
- Strong learning agility and a proactive, self-starting approach to problem-solving.
- Passion for continuous improvement and driving efficiency through automation.
