About the Position
We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with Vue.js and similar frameworks. Your primary focus will be on implementing and developing user interface components, with commonly used state management libraries such as Vuex or Pinia. Maintainability is a key focus, as well as establishing tried and tested development workflows in cooperation with the rest of the team.
Experience with Node.js in a production environment and setting is a big plus, as well as experience working with and developing high throughput applications.
You should have a natural curiosity towards new technologies and trends you haven’t quite grasped.
Responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using Vue.js and JavaScript
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Assisting in estimations as well as architecture definitions and documentation of new solutions
Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of Vue and its core principles or similar frameworks
- Experience with popular Vue state management libraries (such as Vuex or Pinia)
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
