Senior Front-End Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript/JavaScript to join our team in Gdansk, Poland. This role involves building a trading platform for an innovative international top-tier hedge fund from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain various front-end applications.
• Utilize React and TypeScript/JavaScript for UI development.
• Implement global state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, MobX, or Recoil.
• Integrate UI with backend services using REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Ensure high-performance data table rendering with tools like ag-Grid.
• Manage server-state with React Query (TanStack Query).
• Collaborate with backend teams using Node.js and/or NestJS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in React (or equivalent modern UI framework) with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of React UI design patterns and commonly used TypeScript/JavaScript patterns.
• Proven experience with multiple global state management libraries (e.g. Redux, Zustand, MobX, Recoil, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of CSS, CSS-in-JS, and design systems.
• Strong background in problem solving and debugging complex front-end issues.
• Expertise integrating UI with backend services (REST APIs, WebSockets).

Nice to Have

• Experience with ag-Grid for high-performance data table rendering.
• Familiarity with React Query (TanStack Query) for server-state management.
• Experience with Node.js and/or NestJS for backend or full-stack work.
• Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
