About the Position

Senior Frontend Developer – TypeScript, React & Design-Gespür

DATATRONiQ is a Deep-Tech startup from Germany specializing in Industrial IoT and Edge AI. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will develop the dashboard that customers worldwide use to monitor their production – from medium-sized manufacturers to DAX corporations. You will be responsible for our React and TypeScript stack, making anomalies visible and device management user-friendly. You will bring insights from our Edge AI to the screen so that maintenance and quality can react immediately. In the background, our backend runs in Go, all on Kubernetes. Responsibilities

You will design and develop our dashboard frontend (React, TypeScript) – from the initial draft to the productive rollout on Kubernetes.
You will ensure the quality of the frontend: testing, accessibility, and performance in production.
You will contribute to the design: interaction, visualization, and visual clarity are your craft, not just an add-on.
You will translate requirements from the Industrial IoT environment into features that are intuitively operable and visually coherent.
You will participate in technical decisions – selection of libraries, tooling, CI pipelines, monitoring – and bring new development practices to the team.

Requirements

At least three years of frontend experience with TypeScript and React in a commercial environment.
Very good React knowledge; testing and modern state management patterns are part of your daily routine.
A sense of design: interaction, typography, hierarchy, and consistency are natural to you.
Very good English skills in speech and writing.
Bonus: Practical experience with Kubernetes in production: deploying your own services, CI/CD, scalability, and monitoring.
Bonus: Experience or serious interest in Go in the backend – you want to work with the backend team on the whole.
Bonus: Curiosity about AI/ML in the product – chatbots, deep learning, and generative models in productive use.

About the Company

DATATRONiQ is a Deep-Tech startup from Germany specializing in Industrial IoT and Edge AI. Our platform collects telemetry from sensors and controls of modern machine parks. Machine learning models detect anomalies and quality patterns – often before they become apparent in production. The dashboard you work on turns signals into decisions: which process comes first, which alert triggers a response.

Your stack: TypeScript and React – complemented by a trained eye for design, interaction, and performance. In the backend, we speak Go. You work closely with the services that supply your frontend, read their code, and design interfaces together. Everything runs on Kubernetes.

We work in a small, closely coordinated team. Code reviews and pair programming are part of the daily routine. On Fridays, we show interesting findings from the web and new tools in our Show-and-Tell sessions. As a frontend developer, you work daily with the backend team and data scientists: your code is the interface where process data and AI predictions become visible to our users.
