About the Position

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our client's team and play a key role in a strategic modernization effort. This role requires deep expertise in building modern web applications using React, along with strong backend skills in C# and SQL Server. Experience building practical business applications using Gen AI, semantic search, or machine learning is preferred.

About the Client

Our client is a global institutional asset management firm. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in San Francisco, they have offices in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, São Paulo, and New York and employ approximately 300 employees. The firm’s investments include public and private debt and equity securities, direct investments in private companies, and real estate.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications using TypeScript and React.
Refactor and modernize WinForms legacy systems built using C# and SQL Server.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and implementation strategies.
Ensure high performance, security, and maintainability of applications.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Please note that the daily meeting with the client may start at 18:00 CET. There is a need to be in touch until 21:00 CET (not always).

Requirements

5-7+ years of experience with modern web-based stacks like React, JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
Strong proficiency in C# and.NET Core.
Solid understanding of SQL Server, including query optimization and schema design.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Search, ML.Net or equivalent tools, a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
English level: Upper intermediate
