Backend Developer

About the Position

We're seeking a Backend Developer with strong experience in React.js, Next.js, and Node.js to join our international team in Kyiv, Ukraine. This role offers a dynamic, international scaleup environment with motivated, open-minded colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing high-quality features, troubleshooting issues, and delivering effective solutions
• Developing and maintaining REST APIs
• Optimizing backend code and database queries for performance, scalability, and testability
• Collaborating with both local and international agile teams
• Designing and implementing new system functionalities
• Working with AWS services such as Lambda, Transcribe, and S3

Requirements

• Strong experience with React.js
• Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js
• Proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, Transcribe, S3)
• Experience with GraphQL and RESTful API design
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
• Good spoken English for daily communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with ffmpeg for media processing, MobX
• Knowledge of integrating ChatGPT or similar AI tools
