Senior full stack ( JS) Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack (JS) Developer with 4+ years of experience in JavaScript, Node.js, and React for a remote position based in Odessa.

Responsibilities

• Understanding language fundamentals and good knowledge of key features of JavaScript.
• Proficiency in CSS and HTML.
• Experience with React.
• Good knowledge of key features of Node.js and understanding of the V8 engine.
• Application security knowledge.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture (optional).
• Understanding of OOP principles, SOLID architecture, and design patterns (optional).

Requirements

• JavaScript: 4+ years of commercial experience.
• Node.js: 4+ years of commercial experience.
• HTML & CSS: Proficiency required.
• React: Proficiency required.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing microservices architecture (2+ years).
• Understanding of OOP principles, SOLID architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience developing in AWS infrastructure, required to know next AWS services:
  • Route 53: Understanding of hosted zones, DNS records types, aliases.
  • Lambda: Types of lambdas, key features, lifetime, usage specifics, performance issues, scaling strategies.
  • API Gateway: Custom domains, security, endpoint definitions.
  • S3: Understanding of usage, security issues, performance issues.
  • EC2: Basic understanding.
  • ECS: Basic understanding, performance issues, scaling strategies.
  • SQS: Overall understanding.
  • SES: Working with email templating, known limitations.
  • Cloudfront: Good understanding of caching strategies and services availability, traffic routing rules.
  • Cloud formation: Stack understanding, service low downtime.
