About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry to join our team in Remote Ukraine. This role specializes in distributed systems and enterprise-grade REST APIs.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements clarification and sprint planning sessions.
- Own architectural decisions for services and integrations, including service decomposition, communication patterns, technology selection, and scalability considerations.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Support QA teammates in the acceptance process.
- Perform production diagnostics, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements for distributed systems in collaboration with platform engineering teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years within the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, including asynchronous communication, messaging patterns, resiliency, idempotency, retries, and eventual consistency (8y+).
- Expert-level knowledge of C#/.NET, including asynchronous programming, multithreading, memory management, garbage collection, synchronization primitives, and performance optimization (8y+).
- Experience designing enterprise-grade REST APIs, including contract design, versioning, security, idempotency, and backward compatibility.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise applications using SOA and/or microservices architectures.
- Other experience includes the following: WPF, TypeScript, React/Redux, Python (3+ years).
- Strong experience with unit & integration testing.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Mongo DB (3+ years).
- Experience of Entity Framework.
- Experience working with Azure (Azure services).
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Familiar with CI/CD (Azure Pipelines).
- Algorithmic and out of box thinking while working with requirements.
- Familiar with agile methodology.
- Exceptional logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor in IT or related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with OData.
- Hunger for learning new technologies with a "can do" mindset.
- Business knowledge in Finance.
- Knowledge of IaC (Terraform).
