Join our UI Engineering team and build production-grade products at the intersection of AI, engineering, UX and product. You’ll shape not just how our products look and work, but how people will interact with them in the future.

Your Mission

• Build real, production-ready applications with React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js – from the UI to APIs and services.
• Create new ways for people to interact with our products through AI-powered interfaces, conversational UIs and agent workflows.
• Use AI to work smarter and faster. Experiment, build and test with AI, but always think for yourself and take responsibility for the code you ship.
• Understand the problem before jumping into code. Get curious about users, challenge assumptions and find solutions that make a real difference.
• Make good technical decisions. Build scalable architectures, work confidently across the stack and know when to keep things simple.
• Work closely with Product, UX/UI and Engineering to build software that works well, performs reliably and is easy to maintain.

You’re not here just to turn tickets into components. You want to understand the problem, figure out the right solution and build something people actually use.

Your Skills

• AI is part of how you work. You use AI to explore ideas, write code and solve problems, while reviewing its output critically and taking responsibility for what you ship.
• Bring 5+ years of hands-on full-stack JavaScript experience and a proven track record of delivering production-ready applications.
• Have strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js and understand how modern web applications fit together.
• Know your way around APIs and databases. You have hands-on experience building and integrating REST APIs, working with SQL databases and making sound decisions about data structures and database design. GraphQL is a plus.
• Care about code quality. You consider architecture, performance, scalability and maintainability, spot edge cases and take testing seriously. Hands-on experience with Jest, Vitest or Node.js testing is essential.
• Think beyond the code and take ownership. You understand the problem you're solving, can explain your technical decisions and work independently to find the right solution. Experience with AI-first interfaces, agent workflows or natural-language products is a plus.

Bonus: AWS, Jenkins, Grafana, Graylog, Confluence, Jira or shell scripting.

• Remote-first, with meaningful time together: We work remotely most of the time, with occasional workshops, team sessions and opportunities to collaborate in person at our tech office in Berlin. We also host team events throughout the year, including our annual Company Offsite, which takes place at a different venue in Germany each year. Being willing to travel to and attend these gatherings is part of the role.
• Ownership over micromanagement: Take ownership of your work and drive your topics forward independently.
• Build > Talk: Try things early, get things wrong early, learn early.
• High standards, low ego: We give direct feedback and work together openly and respectfully.
• Keep growing: Develop your skills through hackathons, conferences and community exchange.
