About the Position

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js / NestJS)

Build technologies that matter at Avenga, where human creativity empowers technology. Join a core platform team supporting a large-scale digital transformation for a leading telecommunications company. This role is not a typical feature-development Full Stack role. It is primarily focused on backend integration services (around 70% of the work) combined with frontend development and modern cloud platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and React
• Build and support cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and GitOps practices
• Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise platforms, APIs, and third-party systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and business-critical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives that improve developer experience and system reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js development experience
• Hands-on commercial experience with NestJS
• Commercial experience with React or Next.js
• AWS in production environments
• Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Enterprise API integrations
• Experience building or maintaining large-scale production systems
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

• Experience in the telecommunications industry
• Experience with GitOps workflows and ArgoCD
• Experience with Salesforce, Netcracker, or other enterprise platforms
• Experience with Storyblok or other headless CMS
• Platform engineering or developer experience tooling
