Senior Full-Stack.NET Developer

Project Overview

Opus Dental is a Nordic healthcare software company providing modern practice management solutions for dental clinics. We are building the next generation of our cloud platform, moving from a single-tenant model to a true multi-tenant SaaS architecture, with modern identity and access management, clean API design, and a database architecture built for scale. The platform supports daily clinical workflows such as patient management, scheduling, documentation, and billing. We are building and scaling a new engineering team in Lviv that will contribute directly to the core Opus Dental platform. The project includes both maintaining and modernising an existing enterprise codebase and designing new cloud-native services from scratch. The environment is a mix of legacy.NET systems and modern Azure-based architecture, with a strong focus on gradual transformation toward scalable, API-first solutions.

Responsibilities

• Backend services in.NET (current codebase on.NET 9), built API-first
• Integration with identity and authorisation infrastructure, authentication via Zitadel, fine-grained authorisation via OpenFGA
• Multi-tenant architecture: database design, tenant isolation, scaling patterns
• New services built as independent Azure cloud components, decoupled from the legacy system
• Close collaboration with our architecture lead on API and access-control design

Requirements

• Strong C# /.NET experience (.NET 6+, ideally.NET 8/9) at least 7-8 years
• Experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, Service Bus or similar)
• Solid REST API design and documentation skills
• SQL Server / relational database design experience
• Git and Azure DevOps for day-to-day work

Will be an advantage:

• OAuth2 / OpenID Connect and identity providers (Zitadel, Keycloak, Auth0 or similar)
• Authorisation frameworks (OpenFGA, Open Policy Agent or similar)
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS systems
• Frontend experience (Knockout.js or React) for full-stack flexibility
• Background in healthcare or other regulated industries
