Senior Fullstack Developer

About the Position

Our client is building apps in the entertainment industry, utilizing user-generated content. To strengthen their team, they are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer.

This role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong team ethic to unify a common vision.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team developing new features and applications
• Determine optimal solutions for creating scalable and fast-growing web applications – design an architecture and technology stack
• Evaluate relevant new and mature technologies as needs, gaps, and opportunities arise
• Ability to identify problem patterns and apply solutions that enable our team to accelerate delivery
• Provide direction, lead, and coach team members
• Work closely with product managers and other technology teams (e.g. mobile app team)
• Create automatic tests for the code you write
• Create technical documentation of infrastructure and architecture, keep things organized

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications in React on the front and Node.js or Python on the backend
• 2+ years of experience developing systems on AWS and/or Google Cloud technology stack
• Experience in Serverless development
• Comfortable working in a flexible Agile environment
• Comfortable doing research & figuring out matters when needed
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and dimensional modeling concepts
• CI/CD systems experience (Github, Gitlab, etc)
• Hands-on Docker experience
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering related experience
• Very good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow) and model training techniques
• Hands-on experience with Firebase services
• Experience creating apps using microservice architecture
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience
