Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) to join our innovative team at Staige GmbH in Essen, Germany. If you are passionate about scalable systems and have deep expertise in the modern web stack, we want you to combine stable backend architectures with high-performance frontends. Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the design, enhancement, and scaling of our complex backend systems and Angular frontends.
• You will build modern, future-proof microservice architectures and continuously optimize them.
• You will design high-performance API designs and ensure seamless system integration.
• You will manage the deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting within our Kubernetes environments.
• You will collaborate closely with the team to take our technological platform to the next level.

Requirements

• Extensive, in-depth senior-level experience in full-stack development.
• Excellent proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) and NestJS.
• Highly proficient in Angular, particularly concerning architecture and state management.
• Strong experience in API design (REST) as well as in microservice architectures.
• Solid practical command of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).

Nice to Have

• Experience in video streaming (RTSP, SRT, HLS) as well as with GStreamer / FFmpeg.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems (MQTT) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker (build, runtime, debugging).
