About the Position
We're seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with SAP CAP Java skills to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will contribute to the development of multiple services within the SAP Business Network from the ground up, participating in all phases of the product lifecycle - design, implementation, deployment, and iteration. You will work closely with architects and product managers to transform business requirements into technical components while ensuring scalability and quality. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise solutions through innovative development and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team leaders to design and build commercial software solutions
- Break down complex product features into technical deliverables and implement them independently
- Develop scalable microservices and web-based applications following best practices
- Build and maintain APIs using API-first design principles (Swagger, REST, GraphQL)
- Advocate for engineering quality and modern development standards within the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, manage customer requests, and maintain accountability throughout the resolution process
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks, delegating responsibilities when appropriate
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience coding in web-based applications
- Proficiency in Java, especially Java Spring Boot and web service development
- Expertise in Fiori-based development (SAPUI5, OData, CAP CDS)
- Experience with database technologies, including Hana DB and at least one relational database
- Familiarity with API-first principles and tools such as Swagger, GraphQL, and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef
- Understanding of deployment environments, application configuration, and change management
- Experience in Agile development with tools like JIRA and version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
