Senior Fullstack Engineer - Seller Center (all genders)

Full-time | Compensation: EUR 70,000 - EUR 85,000 yearly

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team and enhance the Seller Center's online retail experience with innovative features and strategic SQL Query optimizations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy innovative features for the Seller Center
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers to create effective solutions
• Utilize the SCAYLE platform to manage product and order information efficiently
• Enhance application performance through strategic SQL Query optimizations
• Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and foster ongoing improvement
• Offer technical support and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent service for users
• Explore AI-supported features to streamline workflow processes

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Django 5.X, Tailwind, HTMX, or other lightweight JS frameworks (or desire to learn them)
• Experience in working with Postgresql, Redis, or equivalent data storage
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
• Used to working in an English-speaking environment
• Fluent German comprehension skills (C1-Level); spoken German is a plus but not essential

Nice to Have

• Excellent coding skills with Python
• Extensive Django Knowledge
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with pioneering Greenfield projects or in startup settings, adept at swiftly adapting products to find the perfect market fit
