Responsibilities

• Conception and implementation of innovative features for the Seller Center to optimize the online retail experience
• Close collaboration with Product Managers, UI/UX-Designers, and developers to develop effective solutions together
• Utilization of the SCAYLE platform for efficient management of product and order data
• Improvement of application performance through targeted optimization of SQL queries
• Conducting code reviews to ensure high code quality and continuous development of technical standards
• Providing technical support and analyzing and resolving errors to ensure stable system operation
• Identification and evaluation of AI-supported features to optimize and automate workflows

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or similar lightweight JavaScript frameworks (or willingness to learn these technologies)
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar data stores
• Passion for well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and a high standard for the quality of the codebase
• Experience working in an English-speaking work environment
• Very good understanding of German (at least C1 level); active language skills are advantageous but not required

Nice to Have

• Very good programming skills in Python
• Extensive experience with Django
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience in greenfield projects or startup environments and the ability to quickly develop products and adapt them to product-market fit
