Senior Fullstack SWE

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team in Boston, focusing on enhancing and supporting software applications for investment operations. This role involves development and maintenance responsibility for a broad variety of software applications that support the Investments Operations and Enterprise Data Management groups.

Responsibilities

• Work on an agile delivery team to enhance and support software applications as well as create new ones
• Perform code reviews and approvals
• Multi-task, capable of balancing several highly visible issues
• Serve as the subject matter expert on one or more applications/platforms
• Understand multiple business workflows and identify opportunities to advance capabilities, gain efficiencies, reduce risk
• Work with investment middle office data and the processing of that data including portfolio accounting and transaction data
• Build, enhance, and maintain custom data interfaces and full stack applications using cloud-native technologies
• Some on-call support responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, MS or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight
• Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages including C# and Python
• Experience working with Financial Services datasets, specifically portfolio accounting data
• Experience building cloud native applications, preferably AWS using a variety of available services
• Experience designing and implementing cloud native relational and non-relational database technologies (Aurora, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, DynamoDB, etc.)
