Senior GCP Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior GCP Infrastructure Engineer, you will contribute to enterprise application migration projects as part of a large-scale cloud transformation programme. You will work on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for enterprise workloads, with a focus on reliability, security, and automation.

Your work will include Landing Zone Architecture, networking, IAM, security, monitoring, and infrastructure automation with Terraform. Working closely with application, platform, and security teams, you will support the migration of enterprise workloads to GCP and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure or deployment issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support GCP infrastructure for application migration projects
• Configure Landing Zone components, including networking, IAM, security, and monitoring
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Support the migration of enterprise workloads to GCP
• Collaborate with application, platform, and security teams
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment issues

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the design, setup, and support of cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments
• Experience with Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and manage cloud resources through Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Kubernetes, ideally Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and/or Docker for container-based environments
• Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPC, VPN, Firewalls, and Load Balancers
• Knowledge of IAM and security, including access management and secure configuration of cloud environments
• Experience with Linux systems and command-line work in infrastructure or DevOps environments
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build to support automated delivery processes
• Experience with monitoring and logging to ensure reliable and observable cloud environments
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment issues in a structured and solution-oriented way
• Advanced English for effective communication in an international environment
