About the Position
We at devspiration are seeking a Senior General QA Engineer to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in test automation, and quality assurance processes across a leading professional financial services firm, one of the “Big Four” companies.
The position is focused primarily on automation testing (approximately 80%), with around 20% dedicated to manual testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing for web applications and backend services
- Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
- Execute regression, system, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using C# and modern automation tools
- Perform API and backend testing including data validation
- Collaborate closely with developers, product, and QA teams
- Report, track, and verify defects through resolution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
- Support production releases and troubleshooting
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with strong focus on test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with C#
- Experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright is a must
- Solid understanding of test automation architecture and best practices
- Experience with API testing and backend validation
- High SQL knowledge
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration processes
- Experience with application development and multi-platform architectures
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management tools
- Experience with AI/LLM-assisted automation - optional but beneficial
- English - Upper Intermediate, both written and verbal
