About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to join our innovative team at Endava. As a key player, you will be responsible for designing and building software products in Go, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver dynamic platforms and intelligent digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Developing and testing solutions in Go based on given requirements
- Estimating tasks and participating in daily team sync-ups
- Participating in code reviews
- Daily communication with the client through emails, phone sync-ups, etc.
- Collaborating with the QA engineering team to ensure the delivered code meets the defined standards
Requirements
- Experience with the latest Go versions (7+ years)
- Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, concurrency model (goroutines, channels), memory management, and performance tuning
- Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of web protocols and technologies, including RESTful APIs and HTTP/HTTPS
- Experience designing and developing RESTful and event-driven services in Go
- Experience with source code versioning systems (Perforce, Git, SVN)
- Good verbal and written English
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong experience with Microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of the complete product development lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills, systematic approach, and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Go frameworks and libraries (e.g., Gin, Echo, Fiber, gRPC)
