We are looking for a Senior Go Backend Engineer to join a diverse, product-minded team that values collaboration, impact, and continuous learning.
This is a backend-first role focused on building high-scale web applications and APIs powering a modern Hardware-as-a-Service platform.
We follow a “You build it, you run it” philosophy - engineers own their services from development through production.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Go
- Build and evolve high-performance APIs powering customer-facing applications
- Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability of production systems
- Collaborate closely with Product and Frontend teams to deliver impactful features
- Take ownership of services in production (monitoring, troubleshooting, performance improvements)
- Contribute to a modern development environment (CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, cloud deployments)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Golang
- Proven experience developing high-scale web applications and APIs
- Solid understanding of REST API design and backend architecture
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience deploying and running services in cloud environments
- Experience working in a “you build it, you run it” setup
- Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving skills
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
- Experience with React or TypeScript
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools
