We are looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist who is passionate about supporting a product-driven organization and is a key member of our People team. This role will act as a subject matter expert for People Operations for our HQ in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Meticulously maintain HR profiles, data, and other documentation systems.
• Identify and implement improvements in HR processes to enhance employee experience and scalability.
• Work closely with our external payroll provider to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
• Manage contract management and employee benefits administration across different countries, adhering to local regulations.
• Handle visa applications and directly collaborate with immigration authorities.
• Address employee inquiries regarding HR processes and provide clear and timely support.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the People Operations function.
• Utilize data analytics for process optimization and to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing and optimizing HR operations processes.
• Passion for operational excellence, employee experience, data quality, and HR compliance.
• Solid knowledge of German labor law; international experience is a plus.
• Experience in contract management, visa processes, and global HR matters.
• Ability to work independently with external service providers and internal teams.
• Strong affinity for data and excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused work style.
• Proficient in using HRIS systems and maintaining precise HR data.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate well across different levels of the organization.
• Adaptable and committed to providing high-quality service.
• Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written.
