Senior ICT Risk Manager (DORA Expert) (m/w/d)

flatexDEGIRO SE, the leading and fastest-growing online brokerage platform in Europe, is seeking a Senior ICT Risk Manager (DORA Expert) to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring digital operational resilience by managing ICT and third-party risks in accordance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and MaRisk.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring appropriate, sustainable, and effective ICT and third-party risk management in accordance with DORA and MaRisk.
• Analyzing services not provided by the bank to assess the risk in case of service provider failure.
• Creating BCM emergency plans in coordination with subject matter experts.
• Developing and maintaining exit strategies for critical ICT service providers (DORA).
• Regulatory-compliant documentation of emergency plans.
• Integrating emergency plans into business impact analyses for critical and important processes (CIF) as per DORA.
• Negotiating emergency measures with service providers or creating options with alternative providers.
• Testing exit or emergency plans through actual failure tests or desk-based tests.
• Communicating with the top management of flatexDEGIRO.
• Participating in overarching risk management topics and special topics within bank-wide projects.
• Accompanying internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Completed business studies with a focus on banking and financial services or comparable education.
• Several years of professional experience in outsourcing/third-party risk management or emergency management, ideally in procurement or vendor management.
• Excellent knowledge of banking regulations and their interpretation (MaRisk, EBA, DORA, etc.), good knowledge of banking processes.
• Highly proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Very high level of independence with the desire to proactively develop topics and projects in line with the dynamic growth of the bank.
• High ability for fact-based analysis, clarity in verbal and written expression.
• Diplomatic skills and conflict resolution competence.
• Very good time and priority management, assertiveness.
• Fluency in German and English in speech and writing.
