About the Position
Senior Indirect Tax Associate - Compliance
Location: Porto, Portugal
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Location Type: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Review indirect tax returns and other declarative obligations prepared by our consultants
- Ensure all indirect tax returns, payments, reconciliations, assessments, notices, and audits are concluded on time
- Provide day-to-day support to Farfetch on indirect tax compliance matters
- Communicate with tax authorities in tax audits and requests
- Maintain good working knowledge of indirect tax compliance legislation and procedures
Requirements
- Degree in finance or accounting
- 5 years of experience in working in indirect tax compliance
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent teamwork player and able to interact with different departments
- Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Dynamic and proactive with a high sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel) and technology-friendly (experience in Microsoft Dynamics as user is a plus)
