The Fourth Law (Четвертий Закон) - a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of drone autonomy technologies. Role mission: to build deployment systems, test infrastructure and CI/CD that shorten the path from commit to combat use to weeks, not months. You will approach internal platforms as a full-fledged product - with a focus on UX for engineers, reliability and maintainability - strengthening the capabilities of all teams and the development of solutions that are already working for the benefit of the Defense Forces.

Responsibilities

• Cloud infrastructure: Setting up and maintaining AWS infrastructure for the needs of the team and the product.
• Developer experience: Improving the daily development experience through internal tools - local environments, templates, automation of routine tasks.
• CI/CD: Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - from builds and static checks to automated testing and release.
• Deployment system: Building and maintaining the product deployment system - from delivering artifacts to target devices to versioning, rollbacks and tracking exactly what is deployed where.
• Test infrastructure: Developing an integration testing framework that automatically verifies component interaction in near-combat conditions - including runs on real or simulated hardware. The goal is to catch regressions before they reach the front line.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial development experience.
• Strong command of Python or Go.
• Understanding of engineering processes and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Practical experience with Linux, Docker and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform.
• Experience debugging and diagnosing non-trivial problems in various environments.

Nice to Have

• UX/product experience - the ability to look at tools through the eyes of an engineer-user.
• Software development experience and understanding of the needs of an engineering team.
• Experience with observability and container orchestration.
• Deep understanding of Linux, experience with build systems such as Yocto/Buildroot.
