About the Position
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our Interior Design team in Conshohocken, PA. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in Interior Design and will be responsible for the development of creative and functional designs for complex projects. Strong communication skills and proficiency in design software such as Revit are essential for this role. Responsibilities
- Use advanced techniques in developing design.
- Perform complex assignments requiring new/improved techniques.
- Educate and develop design staff.
- Interpret, update, or create Standards of Practice.
- QA/QC on drawings from drafters and junior architects.
- Serve as Project Architect and client contact when needed.
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, and other professionals.
- Maintain positive relationships across disciplines and offices.
- Share information to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Suggest process improvements and stay informed on practice developments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience in Interior Design.
- Certified Interior Designer (NCIDQ) or licensure as regulated by state.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Prior experience in Revit is required; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative, and SketchUp experience is a plus.
