Senior Inverter Hardware Engineer_HC

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Inverter Hardware Engineer_HC to join Bosch ThermoTechnology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. If you are passionate about shaping beneficial technologies and improving quality of life globally, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Develop variable frequency drives for compressors, water pumps, and fan motors based on HVAC product needs.
• Collaborate on HVAC product control system design planning, reliability design, new technology research, and application.
• Design and develop the hardware circuits for variable frequency drives, including simulation, component selection, schematic drawing, PCB layout, and problem resolution.
• Verify variable frequency drives and support main control verification (planning, testing, reporting).
• Familiarize with electromagnetic compatibility regulations and design guidelines.
• Engage in daily communication for cross-regional, cross-cultural, and cross-departmental collaborative development.

Requirements

• EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in inverter-related hardware product design, with experience in designing AC compressors and fan drivers is preferred.

• SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with inverters, active power factor correction, power devices (IGBT, IPM, PIM), and switching power supply principles.
  • Proficiency in one or more PCB development tools (Mentor Graphic preferred).
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as Ansys, Spice, Simproler.
  • Proficiency in hardware development tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and EMC test-related tools.
  • Ability to analyze and solve EMC issues, FTA problem-solving concepts.
  • Familiarity with CCC, CE, UL/cUL certification requirements for hardware design.
  • Fluent in English (preferred).

• EDUCATION BACKGROUND:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Power Electronics, Automation, Motor Control, or related fields.
