About the Position
We are seeking a Senior iOS / tvOS Developer for a 6-month project with a Sweden tech provider, focusing on video streaming apps for various platforms. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality iOS and tvOS applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver video streaming solutions
- Ensure adherence to Apple design principles and App Store guidelines
- Implement automated testing, A/B testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications
- Utilize design patterns such as MVVM and MVC
Requirements
- 3–5 years of proven experience working on commercial company products / SaaS
- Hands-on experience with iOS and tvOS development
- Strong experience with Swift (main codebase) and Objective-C (libraries)
- Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
- Solid understanding of Apple design principles and App Store guidelines
- Experience with automated testing, A/B testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of design patterns: MVVM, MVC (Redux is a plus)
- Comfortable with backend–frontend integration (full-stack mindset)
- Experience working with REST APIs and Firebase (Realtime Database)
- Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Experience with pair programming
- Clean code mindset, well-structured and maintainable solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have
- Experience with video streaming platforms and media-heavy applications
- Experience with tvOS-specific UX and Apple TV applications
- GraphQL experience
- Basic knowledge of Kotlin (cross-platform collaboration)
- Experience with white-label / customized solutions
- Experience with Chromecast
- App Store submission and management
- Understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science

About the Company
Our client is a Sweden tech provider which is currently developing AndroidTv, TVos, Amazon FireTV apps for Video streaming. The entire team is big, around 50 people. Most of them are Swedish.
